Men’s Ministry Mission

The Desert Springs Church Men’s Ministry mission is to glorify God by leading men to be Disciples of Christ and to accomplish the church’s vision To Know, Grow, and Go with Jesus.

We desire to strengthen, challenge, encourage, and inspire men to walk humbly with God and His Spirit. All men are welcome to join us as we pursue the true life Jesus has for us!

To accomplish these goals we:

• Encourage men to UNITE TOGETHER for God’s purpose
• Sharpen men with RESOURCES for healthy prosperous lives
• Strengthen men through STUDYING AND APPLYING God’s Word in our lives
• Challenge men to SERVE ONE ANOTHER and the body of Christ
• Inspire men to LIVE IN LOVE by loving God and loving others

Our goal is for Men to be active in our Men’s Ministry. Our website is continuously updated with program updates. If you happen to miss a Thursday morning session, all sessions are on video so you can catch up. Need prayer, request it online. 2023-2024 STUDY FOCUS – SET APART, YOUR ROLE AS A DISCIPLE

Our Men’s Ministry study begins officially on Oct 19, 2023 at 9:00am in the Family Room. In line with this year’s study focus, the initial study is titled, Do you really understand our command for Discipleship, the heart of the Christian Life?

We will start up our season examining what is a disciple of Christ. A Christian disciple is a person who follows Jesus Christ and accepts and assists in the spreading of the good news of salvation through Him. Christian discipleship is the process by which (1) disciples grow in the Lord Jesus Christ and (2) are equipped by the indwelling Holy Spirit to overcome the pressures and trials of this present life and become more and more Christ like. Join us each week for a study focused at these two goals.
